I just realized it's been more than two years since I last updated this journal. And what the hell, I was handing out favorites like they were fucking candies, man... At one point, I was staring at a particular piece and was thinking "What the hell is THIS?" So the Favorites got cleared out, in exception to one. But that's because the piggy is too cute. And am considering of buying if the creator will make some.

I also have about 1k+ deviations to look at, about 600+ messages to read, and... lawls, 4 notes to check out.

Yeaaaaaaah.. no thanks. I'll just do a drive-by on the list of folks I got in here and see what's new to them myself.





You must be wondering: what happened to good ol' Jan all these years? (Okay, so maybe you weren't, but let's pretend that you do. It's an ego boost and you get a cookie.)

Well, World of Warcraft happened to good ol' Jan. MMO gaming has become a part of my life. I also like to think of it as a fandom sucker... it's pretty much addicting enough that it sucked the fun out of any fandom I have been going gaga years before. And I realized why I stopped drawing.. because obsessing over certain fandoms were, in essence, the juice to my creative process. Without it, I'm left with no inspirations or goals to continue to draw. Granted, I could be drawing about WoW, but you know how it is... you gotta level your character to 70, you gotta do that daily, you gotta finish that group quest, you gotta help out in the raid, blah blah blah MORE INANE EXCUSES.

And to think I finally bought myself a Wacom for my birthday, and it's been sitting on a chair to the side since May of this year... more lawls.

I'm not gonna promise that I will put an end to this right now. I have been doodling again, and will say that I making an effort to pick up drawing. I'm still a shitty drawer, and it seems all I can draw is fucking eazy mode anime crap. Eh, I guess I'll stick to that for now. I am wanting to get a better paint tool other than PaintShop Pro. People are going gaga over Photoshop or.. Corel.. or something. I don't know what's the current paint tool fad. But if it's still too pricey, shit, I'll just go back to my ghetto paintshop.


It's just weird writing here. Man, I should probably visit LiveJournal, maybe scare a people or two.
